ESS Solutions — Power & Charging Support for Energy Storage Systems, Industrial Backup, and Site Infrastructure

Section 1 – What this page is about (lead paragraph)

A modern ESS or industrial/commercial backup system is not not only by its battery capacity, but by whether the control layer, communications, and safety peripherals stay powered and compliant at all times.

KRECO does not position itself as a “battery energy vendor.” We are an AC/DC adapter, charger, and custom power specialist that supplies the auxiliary power, charging, and small-backup links which make storage systems serviceable, monitorable, and certifiable.

KRECO ESS solutions

Section 2 – Where KRECO fits inside an ESS / energy project

1) Auxiliary / control power for ESS cabinets & BMS/EMS nodes

Every enclosure needs clean, stable low-voltage DC rails for what actually keeps the system observable and safe:

  • BMS/EMS controllers, HMIs, data-acquisition gateways
  • Cooling fans / heaters / dehumidifier loops, door interlocks, alarm beacons
  • On-site network gear (switches, routers, edge boxes)

KRECO supports these loads with wall-mount & desktop AC/DC adapters in common control voltages such as 12V / 24V, universal input 100–240V AC, and protection discipline oriented to continuous operation: OVP / OCP / SCP / OTP, low no-load loss (aligned with Level VI / ErP-type efficiency thinking), and enclosure/material discipline suitable for cabinet environments.

Where required, we provide platforms with UL1310 / IEC/EN 62368-1 lineage and a paperwork package that helps your system-level review move faster: CE, FCC, PSE, SAA, CB, etc.
(Typical use case: a certified 12V auxiliary supply so the BMS/controller never browns out during grid transition or commissioning.)

2) Battery charger solutions for buffer / service / maintenance batteries

Many projects keep a small Li-ion or lead-acid buffer bank for safe shutdown, alarm hold-up, or maintenance top-up. KRECO provides external CC/CV chargers and regulated AC/DC sources used to maintain those banks, with:

  • Common pack voltages covered (examples: 4.2V / 8.4V / 12.6V / 16.8V / 25.2V / 29.4V depending on cell count)
  • Wall-mount or desktop form factors; Class II options where applicable
  • Protections: OVP / OCP / SCP / OTP; MTBF-oriented component choices (MIL-HDBK methodology referenced in our product docs)
  • Customization: output cable spec (AWG/length/connector family), LED indicators, labels, and packaging aligned to your model structure

(Typical use case: a maintenance/top-up charger sized for the small buffer pack behind a hybrid inverter or UPS-linked ESS node.)

3) Mini DC UPS / power-backup for comms & monitoring

When the grid blips, the worst outcome isn’t always the outage itself—it’s the moment telemetry and alarms go dark. KRECO offers mini DC-UPS-type solutions to keep the visibility layer alive:

  • Multi-output options such as 5V / 9V / 12V / 15V / 24V DC to suit routers, switches, NVRs, radios, and cloud gateways
  • Compact placement near or beside
